Power, Voltage, and Size—Straight to the Point
The carbon fiber element is designed to run at high wattage inside a short quartz tube—think around 300mm, give or take. That means you get a ton of heat in a tight space. We spec these for 400V systems, and here’s why that matters: it keeps the current lower on longer runs. Less voltage drop. Less wasted energy in the wiring. And the compact length? That’s the part you’ll feel day-to-day. It slips right into cramped drying zones—like narrow conveyor tunnels or localized curing stations—without fighting for room.
What It’s Built With—and Why It Stays Tough
The carbon filament throws a broad infrared output that cuts through coatings and surface films quickly. You get faster drying, but without the panic of scorching. The quartz envelope handles rapid temperature swings and stays steady when you power on and off on the line. No drama. Just repeatable performance. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a two-ended mount that locks the lamp in place and keeps the alignment consistent—because when you’re aiming heat at a specific product path, you want it to land exactly where you need it.
Where It Shines—and What to Keep an Eye On
In real life, this setup is the go-to for drying wet coatings, speeding up adhesive cure, and pulling moisture out of parts as they move down the line. The heat is dense, so dwell time drops. That’s the win. But it also means you need proper machine cooling and smart reflector setup. If you size the lamp to the target temperature and line speed, everything clicks. If you don’t, you’ll end up chasing inconsistent drying results.
