Materials and Design—Built to Perform
Carbon fiber elements bring low thermal mass and steady resistance, even as temperatures swing. They heat quickly and help prevent hot spots that can crack substrates. Wrap the element in a quartz tube, and you get serious thermal shock resistance plus excellent infrared transmission—so more energy goes straight into the workpiece. The quartz envelope also shields the element from airflow and contaminants. We use robust end-cap connectors, like R7s, to handle high current and repeated heating cycles. The interface is built for quick replacement and solid contact—no loose pins, no arcing under load.
