That’s exactly what we built with this carbon fiber infrared heat lamp. We packed 2500W of serious power into a tube that’s just 300mm long. So you get a huge amount of heat in a tiny footprint. It runs on 400V, too, which is a smart choice. It keeps the electrical current low and your wiring clean, so the whole system just works—without you having to overhaul your power setup.
The Secret Sauce
It all starts with the design. Inside, you’ve got a quartz tube filled with halogen gas, wrapped around a carbon fiber heating element. The halogen does the heavy lifting, keeping the element stable even when it’s screaming hot, which means the output stays consistent day after day. The quartz envelope is key, too. It blasts shortwave infrared energy straight onto the target. No wasted heat drifting off into the air. Just focused, direct warmth where you need it. And the R7s connector? It’s a simple, two-ended ceramic mount that handles the heat and makes this lamp a straightforward drop-in replacement for your standard fixtures.

This isn’t a lamp for gentle tasks. It’s built for the tough stuff—like PET blowing and plastic thermoforming. You need heat fast, and you need it under control. The shortwave infrared profile hits the surface on contact, so your warm-up time shrinks and your cycle rates climb. It’s fast. Really fast. But here’s the catch. All that concentrated power means you have to be ready for it. Your machine’s cooling and shielding need to be up to the task.
